Kirsten Turnbow, Preschool Screening Director

Kirsten works with our amazing volunteers and coordinates the scheduling of vision screenings for our preschool program. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree studying Recreation Management and Youth Leadership at Brigham Young University. Kirsten has been coordinating volunteers for over 3 years before joining us at Friends for Sight. She brings passion for service and a love of working with volunteers. Kirsten discovered the importance of detecting vision problems early when her husband ended up needing eye surgery a few years ago. Kirsten truly loves helping others detect problems early in order to save their sight.

  • “Thanks to a Friends for Sight Vision Screening, our son was diagnosed with Amblyopia and able to receive patch therapy. Our family is so appreciative because Amblyopia has the best chance of being corrected the earlier it is caught."
